Neville is currently the financial head of a listed company but was previously involved in the education sector as teacher and lecturer. His passion for youth development and upliftment was nurtured during his years in the education field. His involvement in ISIC provides the platform and capacity to impact young lives and to offer them the opportunity to excel regardless of their circumstances. Neville is married with two children who are now young adults. He loves to watch rugby and cricket and loves jogging.
Robin is a highly respected educator with a lot of experience in technology integration in education. He is not only an excellent administrator , but also serves in the area of management as well as training and development. He loves reading, outdoor-life and running. He has completed 3 Comrades Ultra-Marathons. Robin is also a devoted Christian who has a passion for youth and community development.
Deon Desmond van Rooyen is an experienced legal practitioner and an enrolled advocate. He takes a keen interest in models of social engineering and the development of new models and concepts of social experiments. He is a fanatic rugby follower, a voracious reader and a writer in his free time.
Nolan is an excise and VAT manager associate at a well-known global tobacco company where he has worked for over 38 years. He has a love for cycling which started at the young age of 12. He has represented the Western Province at junior and senior levels in track cycling. Coming from an under privileged background motivated him to influence and inspire the youth to drive themselves to become leaders of the future and he does so with his experience in the corporate worlds and as sportsman. Through ISIC he saw the opportunity to give back to the community. Nolan is married with a daughter and loves spending time with his family. During weekends you will find him on a road/mountain bike or doing cardio in the gym because in his own words "exercise is a lifestyle."
Benjamin is the HOD of the Science Department at a local secondary school. He is a mentor who plays a supportive role to students and teachers of lesser experience. He is originally from Saron but has been living in Paarl for the last 51 years. He is a wildlife warrior who loves the outdoors and is a keen sports fan and lifelong learner. His ultimate goal is to live the dream of ISIC.
Ivor is currently the principal of a Secondary School in Paarl and has over 37 years of experience in the education field. He is very passionate about his work and his mantra in life is to make a change in the lives of those he works with. He is an active member of the Western Cape Provincial Principals Forum and also serves as a representative of the Winelands Education District. He grew up in the backstreets of Paarl and is now married with three children and enjoys spending time with them. He loves to read and is a lifelong learner of education management and leadership. He wishes to offer more of his services to the community as an agent of change.
Wesley is a loyal, competent and caring lecturer who loves making a difference in the lives of young people. He is open-minded, patient and supportive towards others, especially young people and those who require his assistance. In his previous role as a secondary school teacher, he taught and nurtured hundreds of pupils from all kinds of backgrounds, successfully preparing them for the next stage of their lives.
Rudolf has over 30 years of experience in a number of work sectors. He has also worked at leading companies in Dubai and the United Kingdom on different projects which include leadership and development programs as well as broadcast management around the world. Rudolf is a committed and successful professional with a wealth of transferable skills attained from these different sectors and is looking forward to working with the youth to transfer his knowledge and skill to create better opportunities for their futures.
Anthony has over 25 years of experience in the wine industry. He is dedicated, hardworking and loyal. He is a people's person with the ability to relate with all different kinds of people. He believes in strong family values and therefore has centred his life around his family. He enjoys the outdoor life and his hobbies include sport, especially rugby and cricket. Anthony's motto in life is "rather try and fail than fail to try."
Grant has been a teacher at a local secondary school for the past 22 years. His passion for both sport and young people has led to him organising many major sports events as well as him being actively involved as a sport coach. Grant is an excellent administrator and has proven himself very valuable to the institutions he is involved in. He is a married father of two children.
Robyn is an accountant at a growing fintech company. She has a passion for youth development and community interaction. She believes firmly that one life changed can lead to a change in a community, a society and even the world. She enjoys running, good food paired with good company and binge watching home renovation shows.
